Himachal Tour with Amritsar

*Day 01: Delhi  – Shimla*
A car will pick you up from delhi  airport or railway station to take you towards Shimla. Depending upon traffic, you will reach Shimla by afternoon or early evening and check in to hotel for rest and freshening up. Either rest and enjoy exploring the city on your own or take the car to visit Shimla landmarks like Mall Road, Christ Church etc.

*Day 02: Shimla – Jakhu – Kufri – Mall Road. (50 km)*
After breakfast, drive to highest hill of Shimla to visit Jakhu temple (2455 meters.) dedicated to Lord Hanuman and enjoy the panoramic views. Next stop will be Kufri for it’s views and horse rides. You can also visit Himalaya Nature Park nearby to take a look at some endangered Himalayan bird species.Reach back to Shimla in evening to enjoy a relaxing evening on Mall Road. Visit Christ Church.

*Day 03:Shimla – Ghaghas – Sundernagar – Mandi – Pandoh – Kullu – Manali. (260 km)*
Leave for Manali via route which will take you through Mandi and Kullu. Latter is called Valley Of Gods. It will be a long drive and you will reach Manali by evening and checkin the hotel for rest and freshening up. Rest of evening free.

*Day 04:- Manali – Solang – Manali (104 kms) (4-5 hours*
Get in to car for the thrilling ride towards the solang valley. Drive back in evening to Manali hotel.

*Day 05:- Manali Local Sightseeing (30kms) (4-5hrs)*
This day will be for local sightseeing in Manali as you visit Old Manli, Club House, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery, Manu’s Temple, Hidimba’s Temple and Vashshishth Kund. Latter is the site for some relaxing natural hot water baths where you can soak in the sulfurous water. It’s considered a cure for some skin diseases.

*Day 06: Manali – Mandi – Palampur – Dharamshala – Mcleodganj (250 kms) (8 hours) (1350 meters*
You will Manali early morning and start driving towards Mcleodganj. On way, you will stop at Mandi and Palampur, famous due to it’s tea gardens, adventure sports and Baijnath temple, which is beleived to be thousands of years old. Night stay will be in Mcleodganj or nearby Naddi.

*Day 07: Dharamshala Mcleodganj full day sightseeing*
This will the day for local sightseeing in Mcleodganj. You will visit Mcleodganj attractions like Bhagsu Nag waterfall, Dalai Lama’s residence and temple, Nobulinka an important center for Tibetan studies and culture. Walk through the winding lanes of town and enjoy views of Dhualadhar mountain ranges as well as the welcoming Tibetan ambiance. Night in Mcleodganj.
*Day 08: Dharamshala – Dalhousie (130km)*
Enjoy your breakfast and get in to the car for a long drive towards Dalhousie over scenic mountain roads with 2-3 rest stops. Checkin hotel for rest and enjoy the free evening exploring Dalhousie town on your own.

*Day 09: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamba – Dalhousie (96Kms*
Khajjiar is often called India’s Mini Switzerland. A small lake is one of major attractions. At a little distance from the lake. an old temple of Khajji Nag which was built in 12th century attracts many visitors. The sanctum of the temple has been beautifully carved from wood in considerable detail.

*Day 10: Dalhousie – Amritsar – Golden Temple (190Kms)*
After breakfast drive towards Amritsar to visit the famous Golden Temple and it’s massive charitable kitchen. Later, that drive towards Wagah border post to witness the evening border ceremony before taking a train or flight.
